Catholic Social Ministry Association is made up of Catholic Churches and Organizations under the Diocese of Kansas City - St. Joseph Catholic Charities.  Annunciation is excited to be part of this association as a parish that helps to reach out to those in need of material, spiritual, and advocacy!

Our Mission to fulfill the gospel mandate to care for those who are vulnerable, Catholic Charities provides and calls forth the community to provide - advocacy and social services that create self sufficiency.   

The CSMA meet the third Tuesday of the month.  Areas of discussion are Catholic Social Teaching, Social Work Principles, Issues in Case Management, Community Resources, Legislative and Policy Issues, Lobbying, and Networking.

The group begins the year in August with a picnic and ends the year in May with a retreat.
